Teri Snyder has served as a church member at Immanuel Baptist Church since March, 1998. In July, 2000, Teri joined the staff of Immanuel Baptist as the director of the Child Development Center. Teri and her husband, Steve, have been married for 28 years; have one adult son, Scott and a daughter-in-law, Jamie.  Teri enjoys spending family time camping, birding, hiking, dabbling in woodworking, and playing with her pets Daisy (dog) and Tweety (bird). Raised in a Christian family, accepting Christ as her Savior at the age of 9, it was during her young adult years, after becoming a mother; she realized God was calling her into Childcare Ministry. She began her career as a teacher in a privately owned facility, later serving in two local church facilities as assistant director and director. Teri currently has 16 years experience in Childcare Ministry. She attended and studied Child Development at Temple College, McLennan Community College, and Central Texas College. Teri's love and dependency on the Lord grew beyond what could have ever been imagined. God has carried her through difficult days, blessed her with many wonderful days, and taught her how faithful He is everyday. God is her Rock, Savior, Heavenly Father, and Best Friend. Teri's mission is to exalt Christ in her daily life, minister to parents in the community, and to teach children to grow as Jesus did.
