Bible REading Plans

  • Straight Through the Bible plan

This plan starts you in Genesis goes all the way through to Revelation. Each day is broken into equal parts. If you complete the list provided, you will read through the entire Bible in just one year.

  • Historical Plan

In this plan, the order of the Old Testament readings is very similar to Israel's Hebrew Bible. The New Testament ordering is based upon research into the order in which the books were authored. Although this research is not conclusive, it may offer helpful insights to your Bible reading.

  • Variety Plan

This plan highlights four different sections of the Bible. Each day, if you complete a short reading from the Psalms and Wisdom Literature, Pentateuch and History of Israel, Chronicles and Prophets, and finally the Gospels and Epistles; you will read through the entire Bible in a year.

  • 10 Chapters a day Plan

In this plan you read one chapter a day from ten lists. In the course of a year you will read the Gospels four times, the Pentateuch twice, Paul's letters four to five times, the Old Testament wisdom literature six times, the Psalms at least twice, Proverbs and Acts a dozen times, and the Old testament History and Prophets about one a a half times.
