Immanuel Baptist Missions

The Immanuel Baptist Church Missions Ministry exists to encourage every attendee to be Christ-centered in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).

Praying For the Nations

Prayer is vital to the health of a believer. We want to immerse in prayer those around the world who are persecuted for their faith. We also want to pray for those Unengaged and Unreached People groups. We pray that the Light of God would break through and change the hearts and lives of men and women the world over.

Local Missions

We serve the community of Temple, Belton, and Bell county in many unique ways.

Every 3rd Thursday of the month we serve a hot lunch at Feed My Sheep to over 200 people. We start serving at 11:30am. We also hand out Bibles and pray with anyone who needs comfort. We try to fill stomachs and hearts. We would love you to help be a witness for the Gospel.

We lead Good News Clubs at Tarver and Jefferson Elementary Schools. Each semester we lead a six-week Bible Study lesson from Child Evangelism Fellowship. Both Clubs meet on school grounds after classes dismiss for the day.

National Missions

Immanuel Baptist Church is planning a mission trip to the Church at Wazeecha in Central Wisconsin. This 2013 church plant in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is a fantastic group of believers dedicated to reaching their community. We will be there from July 1-8, 2017 helping with Vacation Bible School and several outreach projects. You can find out more about the Church at Wazeecha at their website

We prayerfully support the ministry of The Pathway Church in Tacoma, WA. They are focused on reaching the Hilltop Neighborhood and surrounding communities in Tacoma. You can find out more about The Pathway Church on their Blog or their website. Stop by and catch up on their ministry; lots of opportunities to hold them up in prayer.

Check out this video of our Mission Trip to Tacoma in the Summer of 2015.

Global Missions

We are the Mid-Texas Area Collection Center for Operation Christmas Child. Each fall, thousands of Gospel-filled shoeboxes come through our church on their way to children across the world.

Immanuel Baptist has adopted the Turkish Cypriots of the United Kingdom as an Unreached People Group who needs the Gospel. We have committed to pray for this unique culture and people. It is our hope that we would find ways to tangibly serve them in the coming days. Be prayerful about how that might happen. You can get more information about Unreached People Groups from the International Mission Board website, to get specific information about the Turkish Cypriots of the United kingdom enter  690 in the "People Name or ID" search box at the top-left of the page HERE.

We also prayerfully support Ekklesia Church in Sydney, BC, Canada. You can find out more about Ekklesia on their website. Remember to keep them and their efforts in prayer as they share the Gospel.
